Freelance Earning

If you are a mid-level amateur freelance writer and has searched the web using key words like ' Get Paid to Write' then you have probably comes across 100s pages each offering variations of the same series of websites including Triond, Bukisa, Hubpages, E-How, Associated Content...

Well, if like me, you are fed up with seeing this list over and over again then let me assure you that this Hub is different. It only contains sites which do not usually show up on the run of the mill ' Earn from Freelancing ' pages.

Niner Niner Collaborative Blog

Niner Niner is similar to Triond in the sense that it has a number of affiliate blogs on which you can publish your content. However, Niner Niner pays upfront for your articles and the payment rate varies from blog to blog (for, technologically speaking they are all based on the WordPress platform) with the maximum being $.50. In addition you get a $5 sign up bonus (which is quite unique to Niner Niner). Threshold pay out is on the higher side being $25.Content must be original and unique. The editorial process is quite lenient and you get just about anything published as long as it is over 200 words.

Many people do not give Niner Niner fair chance because they think $.5 an article isn't good enough. But I think it is one of the best filler sites where you can churn those little 5 minute article. Not convinced? Ask yourself, are you earning more than $.5 per article at Triond? I, sure as hell, am not!

Wikinut

Wikinut is a relatively new player in the freelance circuit but has created quite a bit of noise in the short time and has a lot of potential. It offers authors total freedom over the material they publish and do not claim exclusive or first publishing rights to your content. All articles are moderated by distinguished Wikinut authors and the general quality standards of this site is comparable with both Bukisa and Triond. Revenue share is a fair 50% for authors and 5% for moderators. You can also earn through their referral system. At the moment earning is slow there, but I will be really surprised if they do not improve of that in the foreseeable future.

Boddunan

Boddunan is another content sharing website which pays upfront to its users (only Indians) and the maximum bonus is Rs. 100. In addition 25% of the sites total earnings amongst few of their most active members and this can add up to a decent amount. Boddunan has a separate channel for reviews with maximum pay of Rs. 50.

Like Niner Niner, Boddunan also has a very lenient editorial system even though you have to write quite a gem of an article to get the maximum bonus. However, general quality of article on Boddunan is pretty decent, specially in the scientific channels. But most importantly Boddunan is ascending up the ladder is apparently taking full advantage of Ac and Helium's decision to bar Subcontinental authors.

Review Party

Review Party is publishes reviews on just about anything available on Amazon.com and users can earn through your Amazon Associates account and also through your Google Adsense account. I have no personal experience with this site but business appears to be on the slower side.

Blogger Party

Blooger Party is owned by the same company as Review Party and once again earning is through Adsense with a 50-50 display ratio. However, its referral policy sounded quite interesting. It reads:

"Refer others using your referral link (found in the "my account" section to get your ads placed on THEIR pages 25% of the time."

They are not clarifying who (the author or Blogger Party) is sacrificing their display ratio. Does anyone know??

Orble

Orble is a blog network where you get a 50% adsense revenue share (by ad impressions) and also receive special bonuses in the form of Editorial Stars for high quality posts. A very unique feature of Orble is offers promising bloggers free top level domains (yourname.com) for their blogs. To know more about Orble check out this hub

I joined Blogger Party not too long ago. My understanding of the referral system is this: 50% to author 25% to author's sponsor, and 25% to Blogger Party. If you have no sponsor, then it is 50/50.
